On March 1st, 2017 we filled all of our CMG and IMG positions in the first iteration of the CaRMs Match. For the fifth year in a row, the University of Toronto is the only medical school in Canada to fill all of its positions in the first round. Our success is a testament to the efforts of our Program Directors, Program Assistants, Residency Selection Committees and other faculty and staff and the ongoing high quality of our residency programs.
Of the 407 filled positions, 337 were filled by Graduates of LCME accredited programs and 70 were filled by International Medical Graduates. The 337 U of T PGME positions for LCME Graduates were filled by:
