The 2015-16 Annual Report outlines PGME’s focus on the dissemination of Best Practices in admissions and trainee assessment under the direction of Dr. Glen Bandiera, Associate Dean, PGME. One of the key initiatives for this year was the start of the multi-year Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) implementation. CBME is tied to the CanMEDS 2015 framework and this new approach will assist in training physicians who will deliver high-quality and compassionate health care in the 21st century.
